The Perfect Match: Where Research and Fieldwork Come Together (in French only)
This activity, held in advance of the Rendez-vous Santé en français, was a chance for thirty individuals working in research and in the field to get to know each other. One-on-one meetings were held, followed by group meetings organized according to topics of interest.
Event evaluation responses indicated that participants were keenly interested in attending more such events in future, which could result in the development of knowledge and research geared towards needs on the ground.
Some feedback from our participants:
- They definitely (33%) or somewhat (67%) wanted to continue the discussion on the research and knowledge needs of minority Francophone and Acadian communities with at least one person they met.
- They definitely (83%) or somewhat (17%) intended to participate in “THE PERFECT MATCH” if this event is ever organized again in future.
